Welcome to CreateMyStory. By using our platform, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

CreateMyStory provides an AI-powered platform that helps users create personalized stories for children. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities

  • You must create an account to use personalized features or access paid services.
  • Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.
  • Ensure all provided information is accurate, including email addresses, as they are used for communication and delivery purposes.
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized account usage or security breaches at createmystory.company@gmail.com.

3. Services Offered

We provide the following services based on the story selected (basic or premium):

  • Basic stories: offers stories generated in pdf, language learning format, or pdf with photos format with limited abilities to modify/ personalize features (4 languages to choose from, fixed number of pages, no main character feature, only general topic to choose from)
  • Premium stories: offers 6 different output formats, along with +20 languages to choose from, own topic customization, main character function, and full decision over length of the story
  • Stories are generated based on user inputs such as: topic, number of pages/ audio length, main character, output format, and language.
  • Output formats include PDFs, MP3s, and interactive web stories.

4. Payment and Refund Policy

All paid services are non-refundable except under specific circumstances:

  • If the delivered story significantly deviates from the provided inputs.
  • If technical errors occur during generation or delivery.
  • Refunds are not applicable for user errors, such as incorrect input details.

Payments are securely processed through trusted third-party gateways (Stripe). Prices are subject to change with prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content generated on the platform is protected under copyright laws.
  • Unauthorized sharing, replication, or sale of generated content is prohibited.

6. Privacy and Data Usage

Your privacy is a top priority. Here’s how we handle your data:

  • Data collected during story creation is used solely for service delivery.
  • Emails are used for communication and delivery but are not shared with third parties.
  • Users can request data deletion by contacting our support team: createmystory.company@gmail.com or by manually deleting it in the profile section.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to deliver high-quality services, we cannot guarantee error-free operations. CreateMyStory is not responsible for:

  • Minor inaccuracies in AI-generated content due to user input variability.
  • Issues caused by third-party services (e.g., email delivery, payment gateways).
  • Any indirect or consequential damages.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts for violating these terms or engaging in prohibited activities.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of our platform after updates implies agreement to the revised terms.

11. Prohibited Activities

By using our platform, you agree not to:

  • Engage in activities that disrupt the functionality of our platform.
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
  • Use automated tools (e.g., bots, scrapers) to interact with our platform.
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices, including impersonation.

12. Methods of payment and invoicing

We accept payments through secure third-party processors, currently including Stripe. All transactions are processed in real time through WP Simple Pay.

Upon successful payment, you will receive an on-screen confirmation, and your purchased story tokens will be added to your account immediately. At this time, we do not issue formal invoices or offer manual receipts, but we are happy to confirm transactions upon request.

13. Right of withdrawal

As a digital service provider, we comply with consumer protection regulations regarding the right of withdrawal. In accordance with applicable laws, users may request a refund for unused or defective digital content (e.g., story tokens) within 14 days of purchase, provided that the tokens have not been used.

Once tokens have been used to generate a story, we reserve the right to evaluate refund eligibility based on the performance of our AI system and the quality of the generated content. If the story fails to generate, is technically flawed, or clearly does not follow the user’s prompt, you may be eligible for a refund or a free story regeneration.

14. Product warranty

We are committed to delivering high-quality, personalized digital content through our AI-driven storytelling platform. While we strive to ensure accuracy and alignment with user prompts, technical or creative issues may occasionally occur.

If a story generated through our service fails to meet basic expectations (e.g., blank output, corrupted formatting, or clear misunderstanding of the prompt), users are entitled to:

  • Request a regeneration of the story using the same token
  • Receive a refund for the failed story token

Our support team is available to assist with technical issues, account concerns, or story quality problems. We aim to respond promptly and ensure a satisfactory experience.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland and applicable EU regulations. In the event of a dispute, users are encouraged to first attempt resolution through negotiation and mediation. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to arbitration in Rzeszow, Poland, in accordance with local regulations. However, consumers residing in the EU retain the right to bring legal claims in the courts of their country of residence in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.
